How I started:

My grandfather, whom passed when I was very young, was a photographer but I did not learn of this until after a few friends introduced me to the hobby back in junior high. I received my first camera in the 8th grade as a present. Despite its awful quality, I brought it with me just about everywhere.
In high school I joined my school's photography club, upgraded to my first DSLR, and eventually became one of the club leaders my senior year. We attended after school trips to Philadelphia and local parks.
Since high school I have continued photography by entering my work in local art shows, photographing events and portraits, and working as the official photographer for a Main Line summer camp. I am currently majoring in Photography at community college.
